Mission

Our singular goal is to produce an excellent video that dancers, parents, teachers and administrators will enjoy viewing over and over again.

Process

We do a three camera shoot providing the viewer with interesting points of view.   We also use a digital sound recorder to capture ambient sound.  But, we need your professional recordings of the songs the dancers perform to so we can mix it with the ambient recording.

In post production, titles, credits and computer graphics are added. We then package up the final video and post it to our MOJOeyes video on demand (VOD) site:

It takes approximately two weeks to finish your video. When finished, the video is then ready to view at anytime, anywhere–even on a smart phone or tablet.

This delivery method is faster, in  high definition and more affordable.

Model

We have found that sharing revenue with your dance programs is good business.  So the MOJOeyes business model is as follows:

1. You don’t pay us, we pay you
2. You don’t have to collect money, we process payments online and at the event
3. Together we tastefully promote the video to parents
4. Prior to the event, we encourage parents to pre-purchase the video
5. At the event, you tell the audience that video taping the event is forbidden because it blocks other audience member’s views and the production is being professionally recorded for their convenience and the safety of the dancers
6. At the event MOJOeyes will set-up a point of sale display and will sell the video taping
7. MOJOeyes will be in the dance program with information on how to go online and purchase the video

Here’s how the math works:

1. We share 50% of the revenue with you after we cover our costs
2. Our costs include $600 for personnel and equipment, $2.80 per sale hosting fee, 6% sales tax
3. Let’s say you have 200 students in your program and 50% purchase a video at $19.95.  This will generate $1,995 in total receipts less our costs ($600 + $280 + 119.70 = $999.70) leaves $995.30 to split down the middle or $497.65 for your program
4. If we don’t sell enough videos to cover our costs, there is no revenue sharing but you don’t owe us anything

We pay you 60 days after a video is purchased online.

Promotion

1. MOJOeyes will create your dance concert video on demand (VOD) webpages allowing parents to pre-purchase the video
2. The VOD pages will include a trailer and a poster for the event–we’ll collaborate to get this done well
3. We’ll give you the information you need to inform your students and parents via email or printed flyer one month in advance
4. Please remember to include the VOD link in all your communications about the dance concert
5. One week before the concert send out an email announcing that the event will be professionally recorded and video recordings will not be allowed during the performance
6. At the event have your master of ceremonies announce that recording the event with a camcorder, camera or smart device is strictly prohibited
7. Finally, in your thank you email to the parents, remind them that the video of the concert is online
